About
I'm all about celebrating the diversity of spiritual experiences among women from different backgrounds. When I paint, I like to use bright colors and bold shapes to make things pop. My inspiration often comes from hanging out with kids or spending time with my nieces—they've got such contagious creativity!
Teaching preschool art really gets my creative juices flowing. And when it comes to materials, I try to keep it eco-friendly. I use recycled stuff whenever I can, like thrifted goods or sustainable materials. My materials include acrylic paint, pen and ink, oil pastels, watercolor, collage, and colored pencils. I also love building up layers in my artwork. I start with a messy background and then get more precise as each layer dries. I use brushes, fingers, forks and Q-tips to create interesting textures. |
